The Haxton Householdresides in Dover, Indiana, a small town on the western edge of Boone County. Daithi ("Dave") and Lorraine have three children from our previous marriage: Rhiannon, Courtney and Hilary. Rhiannon is a social worker currently in Indianapolis, and looking to relocate to the Windy City soon. Courtney is married and living in southern Indiana with her husband Matt, daughter Elizabeth and sons Jonathan and Christian. Always the artist, she maintains a page of her works here. Hilary and her kids, Damien and Anastasia, are back in Minnesota, and is expecting another baby next February. On August 1st, 2002 I bought our dream property - an old farm. It has 12 acres, a farmhouse that was built in 1910 and several outbuildings. After much renovation, it was ready to move in just before the Yuletide of 2002. We're raising chickens and Highland Cattle. The farm now has it's own website, Hammerstead. We , we try to discover who we are and where we're going. We write prose and poetry, and toot recorders and sketch. Dave really gets going sometimes on political, religious and cultural subjects: the writings section below contains some of his better efforts, as well as a couple of our favorite rants from other authors, and some important documents for family history. He also maintains a blog, MacRaven.
