Blosxom Got Boogered!

Well, I apologize to readers of my RSS feed for that last post (on the formula for chicken feed): I have no idea how it happened, it might have been due to some power failures issues we were having (it was storming pretty good), but somehow, the original post was initially a day off (it appeared in the calendar as an entry for today rather than late last night), and in my attempts to fix it, I managed to get it duplicated! So it appeared twice - once on each day.

I'm reasonably certain it's fixed now, but we'll have to wait until the next update cycle in 30 minutes to find out. Of course, this post will find it's way to the server at the same time, so things could get really confusing!

Ah, computers! Think I'll go deal with something rational this morning - like, oh, say, sheep....

Chicken Feed

In case anybody cares, here's the basic formula for "Broiler Builder" - all ingredients coarse ground or rolled:

  • 1015 lb. shelled corn
  • 625 lb. roasted soybeans
  • 200 lb. oats
  • 75 lb. fish meal
  • 25 lb. aragonite (calcium)
  • 60 lb. Poultry Nutri-Balancer

Yield: 1 ton

Whew! Now you know what I've been doing today!
