Counselor charged in alleged pit bull attack

Given this guy's outstanding record:

Moore, who has been arrested on charges of domestic violence, sexual assault and aggravated assault with a weapon

I've gotta wonder how he ever become a "counselor". Was anybody, like his estranged wife or the local police, really surprised at this incident? Anger management, indeed.

Ryan C. Moore, 54, who treats anger management problems and addictions, was arrested Friday and charged with aggravated battery for allegedly releasing his dogs with the command "Go get them" while he and the others were riding out the storm on September 4 and 5.

Väsen

Well, the big day is finally here: Odin Lives Radio presents the Swedish folk ensemble Väsen in concert tonight. As far as I know, this is the first time a Heathen organization has sponsored a show by a major recording artist: I might be wrong, but even if I am it's still a rare enough event to make it noteworthy.

If you happen to be in western Ohio or eastern Indiana and can make it, here are the details. There are still some good seats available. Kris and I, along with a good chunk of Ravenswood will be there for sure.

We'll have a full report tomorrow!

Saving the Artistic Orphans

This is a fine overview of the main problem with extended (and unregistered) copyrights: material is essentially locked down forever.

Brewster Kahle, the founder of the Internet Archive, sues the federal government to help 'orphan works' return to the public domain. Pieces of history and culture are caught in a morass of far-reaching copyright laws. By Katie Dean.
