DeLay, Successor Blunt Swapped Donations (AP)

If the Democrats can just stick to the facts here, and manage to look "statesman-like" and have "gravitas", I predict a sea change in Congress in 2006 comparable to the Republican Revolution of 1994. The corruption scandals being revealed now will be viewed as Dubya's "read my lips" moment - and they'll have the same effect, politically.

AP - Tom DeLay deliberately raised more money than he needed to throw parties at the 2000 presidential convention, then diverted some of the excess to longtime ally Roy Blunt through a series of donations that benefited both men's causes.
