Placeholder

Having typed the title with the intention of representing this post, it struck me as how much the word 'placeholder' actually describes things right now - here, anyway. But enough musing: suffice it to say that a lot has happened in the past couple of days, and I'll blog about it on the morrow, when I regain some energy.
