Public expects gridlock if Democrats pick up seats

And this is a bad thing? Hel, the more gridlock in Washington right now, the better!

Americans foresee "more gridlock" in government if Democrats take over the House and/or the Senate after elections this fall, a CNN poll shows.

'Star Trek' marks 40th anniversary

Talk about feeling old!

Forty years ago last night, my mom let me stay up late to watch this new space show ... I was immediately and utterly enchanted. I never missed an episode, even when it moved away from Friday night, even the summer reruns. And forty years later, it's still the only TV show about which I can make that claim.
