Police Get to Leave Poop Behind

Sometimes a headline says it all.

Proving once again that the police are a privileged lot, the Madison (Wis.) City Council passed an ordinance that excuses officers on patrol from having to scoop the poop their four-legged friends leave behind.

Goldberg defends Vick in 'View' debut

Whoa, Whoopi!

Goldberg said that "from where he comes from" in the South, dogfighting isn't that unusual.

"It's like cockfighting in Puerto Rico," she said. "There are certain things that are indicative to certain parts of the country."

So, we need to be more culturally sensitive, eh? Well, there was another famous institution that was "indicative" of the South, and I'll bet my bottom dollar Ms. Goldberg's rather glad we stomped that one out a hundred and forty years ago ...

Clinton promises to save Social Security

Well, given her statement, there's only one way to "save" Social Insecurity that she didn't rule out. I wonder what that could be?
