Apple Files Patent for Translucent Windows

Bad patents are bad patents, no matter which company files for them. Granted, this may be one of those so-called "defensive" patents - filed to protect a common technique, but nonetheless, I'm certain there's prior art for this.

ohn Kheit at Mac Observer reports on US Patent Application No. 20040090467, published on May 13, 2004, in which Apple filed a patent application for 'Graduated visual and manipulative translucency for windows.'"
