Landlines go dead as more use cell phones
Hrumpf! We're moving in the opposite direction here: our cell phones are about to go dead. They foist unpredictable charges on the budget, are generally more expensive than a landline and for me to actually use mine out here requires going out to the east paddock and standing close to the fence! I'll take the easy chair, a landline and an answering machine. For nearly three in 10 households, don't even bother trying to call them on a landline phone. They either only have a cell phone or seldom if ever take calls on their traditional phone. (link) [CNN.com]/Home | 0 writebacks | permanent link writebacks... comment... |
