Barr launches Libertarian White House bid

Imagine Bob Barr as a libertarian - what's next? Will he be taking up Wicca?

Maybe he's been smoking something other than cigars... or he's gotten a new boyfriend.

In my humble opinion, this is the final nail in the coffin of the Libertarian Party as a political force for liberty - they're just another bunch of hacks trying to win power and control my life.

A pox on them all.

AP - Former Republican Rep. Bob Barr launched a Libertarian Party presidential bid Monday, saying voters are hungry for an alternative to the status quo who would dramatically cut the federal government.
