Google sued over North Carolina tax exemptions

Do no evil - unless it involves stealing money from taxpayers. Indiana is facing a property tax crisis right now, and I can't help but wonder how much of it is due to deals like this that various localities (and the state) have made over the years with these corporate welfare recipients.

Hi Dave, I think you should run for office... maybe for a seat in the Statehouse. I may not always agree with your positions, but I figure what you do stand for comes from a sincere wish to do good. Much better than too many of our elected public servants. Sadly, politics is full of all sorts of compromises. The first one you'd have to make from a practical standpoint would be to run as either a Dem or a Repub. I doubt you'd want to make that sort of compromise. Are you in Dan Burton's congressional district? If so you could probably run against him on any opposing ticket with the same result. This guy is worthless.
