2003: Year of Apache

Both CNet and Slashdot are running pieces today about the new NetCraft survey's showing the seemingly unstoppable rise of Apache.

The open-source software for sending out Web pages held onto its market lead by growing far more rapidly in 2003 than its nearest rival, Microsoft's IIS, according to a new survey.
