Economist Friedman dies aged 94

Truly the end of an era. I would often disagree with him, especially during his Chilean experiment, but must admit that he presented his arguments with style and panache. His son David is one of my favorite libertarian thinkers, and he posted a most appropriate tribute to his father today.

R.I.P.

Lady Thatcher leads tributes to US Nobel prize-winning economist Milton Friedman who has died aged 94.

Rainy, Miserable, Dreary Day

I think December's rains started a wee bit early - we've had better than an inch and a half in the last 24 hours. It's not too cold, but it's sure breezy. Just miserable working outside, but work outside I did. Blitzen has learned to climb the fence in the east paddock! Not butt it down, not crawl under it but actually climb it. Goats truly are just cats with crowbars on their heads! So fixing fence I went, getting soaked in the process.

Maybe I'll dry out by tomorrow and feel like writing something. Maybe.
