A Dead Language That’s Very Much Alive

This is a very Good Thing™. A basis in Latin (or really any foreign language) is, in my humble opinion, a perquisite for calling oneself educated.

The resurgence of a language once rejected as outdated and irrelevant is reflected across the country as Latin is embraced by a new generation of students.

Amazon patents 'customer review incentives'

Ridiculous: a patent on automatically saying "Thanks!" for a review others find useful. I wonder if this would cover automatically saying "Piss off" for reviews that others found unhelpful?

Morons...

The self-described patent reform advocates at Amazon.com don't seem to have broken their habit of putting legal hooks on just about anything they dream up.
