Maybe us heathens should try to buy Heavener Runestone State Park ... even if it's only heathen connection (besides being in fake runes) has been the many moots held on the site over the years - we've got a story here! Apparently, it's not enough that fundies control the material available in the NPS bookstores, now they want the actual land itself! And people wonder why I'm so appalled by the Bushies... LA Times - A clash over the federal government's right to lease a national historic site in Wyoming to the Mormon Church moved to court Wednesday as the American Civil Liberties Union (news - web sites) filed suit, arguing that the government violated the constitutional bar against endorsing religion.
