US chicken imports suspended

This is not good ... we're getting ready to order our spring chicks, and I'm more than a bit nervous about going overboard. From all indications in Asia, once this stuff gets a foothold it's pretty much epidemic central.

Not to mention the opportunity to jump to the human population: scary stuff!

Japan and South Korea halt imports as reports of a strain of bird flu in Delaware are checked.
